∆} Childhood name- Mulshankar Tiwari.

∆} Religion - Hinduism.
∆} Nationality - Indian.
∆} Philosophy - Vedic.
∆} Enormous devotee of Lord Shiva.
∆} Guru-Swami Virjanand.
∆} He was a SANYASI from boyhood.
∆} He empathized the Vedic ideals of Brahmacharya, including - Celibacy &  Devotion of God.
∆} He belonged to Auditya Brahmin Sub-Division.



 ∆} He founded- Arya Samaj in Bombay in 1875.
 ∆}  He opposed the - Child Marriage, Untouchability & Caste System.



§Political Thoughts:-
∆} Swami Dayanand was not a social thinker, but a social reformer, but he made a special place in both.
∆}His political views found in both texts- Satyarth Prakash & Rigvedadi Bhashya Bhumika.
∆} Voice for Self Government & Swarajya - first raised by him.
∆} In his famous book "Satyarth Prakash", he discussed the concept related to - construction, Nature, Governance, & Justice, which he wanted to established in India.


§Arya Samaj:-
∆} He founded in 1875, April 6, in Bombay.
∆} It main religion was Humanity.
∆} He wrote Satyarth Prakash.
∆} His popular slogan - "Back to the Vedas."


§ Swami Dayananda's View:-
∆} He was enormous opponent of Caste System .
∆} He was a follower of Vedic Religion. Yet he never supported the evil practices.
∆} He supported the Varnashram -System.
∆} Arya Samaj brought a high position to women in the society.


§Western Education:-
∆} He stressed the importance of education of all children.
∆} As per him, education is the "Formation of Character."
∆} Great Educational Revolution gain Great Economic Revolution.



§ Assassination:-
∆} In 1883, Maharaja of Jodhpur, invited Dayanand Saraswati to stay at his place.
∆} Thereon, Dayananda asked to Maharaja to forsake the girl & all ethical acts & to follow the Dharma.
∆} Dayanand's suggestion offended Nanhi, who decided to take revenge.
∆} On 1883, September 29, Nanhi Jaan bribed Swami's cook as mixed small pieces of glass in his nightly milk.
∆} He breathed his last at Bhinai Kothi (54km away from South of Ajmer).
∆} Arya Samaj Fair -Every year on Rishi Udhyan.
