§ Introduction- 1) Indian mystic poet & Saint.
2)His writings influenced Hinduism Bhakti Movement.
3) His personality was multifaceted. Hindu & Muslim both are equally considered by him.
4) His verses found in - Guru Grinth Sahib & Satguru Grinth Sahib.
5) He was a social reformer, co-ordinator of Hindu-Muslim religion.
6) His followers called him -an Avatar/Incarnation.
7) He was raised by weaver couple-Neeru &Neema.
8) His initiation guru- Swami Ramananda.
9) His poetry based on - Equality & Justice.
10) Like Socrates, he opposed social & religion disorder.
11) Kabir's speech was collected by his disciple Dharmadas under the name "Bijak" .
12) Meaning of "Bijak" - 'The list that tells the secret wealth.
§Nature of Devotion to Kabir§
1) Kabir is formless worshipper. He offered his devotion to at the feet of Nirguna Formaless Supreme Father.
2) Attainment of farmless is possible through knowledge and this knowledge is imparted by Guru.
3)As per him, Soul & Ram is one.
4) Path of devotion to God is found by Guru's grace to the devotee.
5) Kabir expresses his gratitudes again and again to Guru who enabled him to see the Paramatma.
6) He described - Paramatma as " Husband" & Atma as "Wife".
7) As per him, biggest obstacle on the path of devotion is Worldliness, it is Maya.
8) His goal not for the "creation of poetry", it's a medium, for him, only, through this propagated the truth.
§Philosophical Thoughts§
1) Kabir expressed himself thought not on the basis of books but on the basis of - Brahma, Jeev, Jagat, Maya & Sahaj-Sadhna.
2) Kabir- was a philosopher of Nirguna Brahma, whome he addressed by Ram, Rahim, Hari, Keshav .
3) He considers- Aatma(wife) & Paramatma(Husband). And he also considered to attain Brahma, SahajSadhna is optimal.
4) Soul - He considered soul as a part of Brahma.Also considered 'Atma' & 'Paramatma' to be one.
5) When soul become conscious through knowledge given by Guru, then get the Paramatma.
6) Jagat- Kabir considered the world to be the existence of Param Brahma Parameshwar.
7) As per him, "Jati Pati Puchhe Nhi Koi, Hari Ko Bhaje So Hari Ka Hoi."
